The purpose of this document is to outline the process of recording and applying a special announcement.
Special announcements should be recorded as an Auto Attendant.
- Navigate to Services tab at the top, and Auto Attendant on the left side of the window. Select the New Auto Attendant button. Give the auto attendant a name. Route button 0, the time out button, and other pertinent buttons as needed to match your new recording.


2. Record a new auto attendant message by one of the available methods indicated in a blue box that will resemble the example below:

3. Navigate to Services > Phone numbers. Select the incoming number you wish to edit. Scroll down to the Call Routing section.

4. Change the Route To option to Auto Attendant, and select the newly created auto attendant. Be sure to save your changes. Wait a couple of minutes and then call in to test.
