Transfer Calls on Polycom VVX Phones

Polycom VVX (pre‑5.4.3)

Consultative (Warm) Transfer

1. During an active call, press Transfer (hardware button or softkey). Caller is placed on hold.
2. Dial the desired recipient’s number.
3. When they answer, announce the caller.
   • To return to original caller without transferring, press Cancel.
4. Press Transfer again to complete the transfer.

Blind Transfer

1. During an active call, press Transfer.
2. Press Blind softkey.
3. Dial the desired destination number.
4. Press Send to transfer immediately.

Polycom VVX (5.4.3 and Later)

1. During an active call, press Transfer (hardware or softkey) for a consultative transfer.
2. To choose transfer type, press and hold Transfer, then select Consultative or Blind.
3. Dial the party’s number and press Send when ready.

Direct to Voicemail Transfer

1. Press Transfer.
2. Select Blind transfer.
3. Dial the recipient’s mailbox number followed by * (e.g. 400*).
4. Press Send to transfer directly into voicemail.
